The Bathing Beauties® project, curated and directed by Michael Trainor has evolved into a number of strands:

• Bathing Beauties®: Huts on Parade – a linear gallery of seaside architecture, Lincolnshire coast, UK.
• Bathing Beauties®: A Hub Touring Exhibition of up to 100 artists and architects 1:15 scale model selected from those entered in the international design competitions to ‘Re-imagine the Beach Hut for the 21st Century’.
• Festival of Bathing Beauties® 20 – 21 Sept 2008 in Mablethorpe and Sutton-On-Sea on the Lincolnshire coast, UK. The UKs only Beach Hut Festival, now in its second year and aiming to become an annual event.

The Bathing Beauties® project has received worldwide press coverage and captured the imaginations of artists, architects, tourists, beach hut lovers, and those with an interest in coastal regeneration and the revival of the British seaside. The towns of Mablethorpe, Sutton-On-Sea and Anderby Creek are the first in the UK to implement significant new Bathing Beauties® micro-architecture in a linear gallery linking the towns on the Lincolnshire coast, UK. Over the weekend of 20 – 21 September 2008, the second Festival of Bathing Beauties® will take place.
